Metaverse Mod Squad is a company that provides Virtual World, message board, and chat room moderating services to corporations with online communities. Moderators contracted by Metaverse Mod Squad are responsible for communicating, protecting and enabling the Virtual World, message board, and chat room experience. Moderators help to maintain and shape our clients' unique online community by assisting with community events, assisting users with problems both technical and social, orienting new arrivals, and channeling community concerns and feedback to Metaverse Mod Squad's managers and directors.

Qualifications:

• Be 18
• Have a Second Life and other Virtual World compatible PC or MAC
• Have broadband access
• Speak and write English fluently
• Cool-headed and able to give a quick assessment of complex situations
• Experience in community conflict resolution
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively on the fly and often at a fast pace
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bonus points for a second language, particularly German, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, French, Korean or Italian
• Have spent time in Second Life or other Virtual Worlds.
• Pass criminal background check for any work in Worlds that have residents under 18.
