Metaverse Mod Squad

The Mod Squad. Executive Team.

Amy Pritchard

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, Amy is the company's visionary, strategist and evangelist, and has an uncanny vision for the vast opportunities of virtual worlds. With her background in moderation of online communities, Amy quickly recognized virtual worlds were key to connecting companies, organizations, activists, advertisers, and individuals in unique and interactive way.

Under Amy's leadership, Metaverse Mod Squad provided security for the first incident-free political event in Second Life. After making that splash in both the metaverse and political arenas, Amy turned the company's attention to the entertainment industry, where Metaverse Mod Squad has made CWTV's Gossip Girl experience the hottest destination in Second Life. Her mission is to capitalize on the company's initial success, grow the business, and proselytize to real life companies the unlimited possibilities in virtual worlds.

For years, Amy has been instrumental in the study and implementation of various expressions of online communities. She worked in moderation for several network studio message boards before starting a consulting firm specializing in the social and legal issues unique to online communities and virtual worlds, particularly children's issues. Prior to founding Metaverse Mod Squad, Ms. Pritchard was the Director of After School Programs at the Waldorf Elementary School in Santa Barbara. After graduating from law school, she worked as an attorney in commercial litigation for over 10 years. She served as an associate at the Los Angeles law firm of Winterbotham, Parham, Teeple & Marchisotto, PC, in-house counsel for the Sacramento financial firm of NCA, Financial, Inc., and then co-founded the law firm of Hughes & Pritchard, LLP in January 2004.

Amy has a degree in Social Studies from University of California Santa Barbara and a law degree from Pacific Coast University School of Law.

Michael H. Pinkerton

Chief Operating Officer

As COO, Michael leads professional services, marketing, business development, and public relations for Metaverse Mod Squad.

In addition to overseeing the development, design, operation, and improvement of the company's services, Michael creates communication strategies for Metaverse Mod Squad and its clients. While his real life experience includes over a decade of practicing law with large law firms in the areas of commercial litigation and bankruptcy, it is his background as both a virtual world employee and an employer - first as a popular club deejay and then the owner of the inimitable Thirsty Tiger sports bar - that make him uniquely qualified to manage Metaverse Mod Squad's operations.

Michael graduated with honors from University of Georgia's Grady College, one of the oldest and most distinguished journalism programs in the country. He also attended law school at Louisiana State University, where he was a member of the Louisiana Law Review.

Peter E. Hilliard
