Metaverse needs QA Testers for both remote positions and those in our Sacramento operations center. These positions are for a variety of clients. A successful candidate will show strong attention to detail as well as the ability to work in a methodical and structured way. Knowledge and experience in testing methodologies, testing results documentation and standard online game systems and dynamics are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Executing manual test plans under the direction of the QA Lead and/or Manager
- Careful documentation of test results, including steps to reproduce bugs and other errors
- Ability to triage bugs and errors by level of severity, based on provided criteria
- Reviewing and testing accuracy of product documentation
- Dependably entering bugs and other issues into relevant tracking database
- Acquiring and maintaining a high degree of product knowledge
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Schedule flexibility
- Basic familiarity with software / game technical terms
- Self-motivated ability to work in a production-oriented environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Disciplined documentation methods
- Experience / Knowledge / Love of online gaming, social media and virtual worlds
- Aged 18+ and able to pass a background check
